The Hendricks County Senior Services' annual spring fundraiser is approaching quickly. The Prime Time 5K Walk/Run 2008 will take place at the Plainfield Aquatic and Recreation Center on May 24th. Registration will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., and the race will start at 9:00 a.m.

Proceeds from the event go directly to Hendricks County Senior Services, which serves seniors from all over the country. The center keeps seniors, of all ages, active btoh mentally and physically, helping them to remain healthy. As the population grows, seniors centers' populations do too. Due to the fact that Hendricks County Senior Services receives no tax dollars, the center itself relies on various types of funding in order to operate.
